Basic Concepts regarding age

  •  If a present age of A is ‘x’ years then

‘n’ years ago=(x-n) years.

‘n’ years after=(x+n) years.

  •  If a present age of A is ‘x’ years and B is ‘y’ years then

‘n’ years ago=A’s age is (x-n) years and B’s age is (y-n) years.

‘n’ years after=A’s age is (x+n) years and B’s age is (y+n) years.

  •  The age of ratio is a : b then ages is ax : bx.

Question 1:

The sum of ages of 5 children born at the intervals of 3 years each is 50 years. What is the age of the youngest child?
